Orio Rowing Club faces two important events this weekend

Senior men and women will compete in the Spanish Trainerilla Championship and the Mutriku Trainera Regatta.

Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, the Spanish Trainerilla Championship races will be held in Castro (Cantabria), with the participation of the senior rowers from Orio Rowing Club (OAE). Additionally, the men will also compete in the XXV Mutriku Trainera Regatta.

The preliminary races will begin on Saturday midday in Castro. In the men's category, alongside Orio, Castreña, Zierbena, Chapela, Ares, and Mecos will compete. In the women's category, the rivals will be Astillero, Pasai Donibane, Tiran, Chapela, and Amegrove.
The finals will take place on Sunday, with the B finals first and then the A finals. The OAE's senior women will be participating in this championship for the first time, as the club itself has announced.
The trainerilla event will not be the only fixture for OAE this weekend. The senior men will compete in the XXV Mutriku Trainera Regatta tomorrow, Friday, in the aforementioned Gipuzkoan town, starting at 10:30 AM. Orio will race in the third heat alongside Zierbena, Donostiarra, and Hondarribia.
