In total, 19 teams will participate in this edition, most of them from the highest category of international women's cycling. Of these, 13 teams are from the UCI Women’s WorldTeam category and another 6 from the UCI Women’s ProTeam category. Among the participants, some are solid structures within the peloton, while others are growing projects.
According to the organizers, the final stage of the Itzulia Women 2026 will be “decisive,” as it will simulate the Clásica de San Sebastián. The route will ascend from Lezo to Jaizkibel, and to finish, it will climb the wall of Murgil up to Mendizorrotz. Subsequently, it will descend to Orio and Donostia, serving as an individual time trial to secure victory in the general classification.
