Zarautz kicked off the tenth edition of the Shelter 4Teens surf event this morning, which will serve as a meeting point for young surfers until Sunday afternoon. This year, to celebrate the special anniversary, a special open category competition has been organized, featuring the participation of past winners and finalists.
From tomorrow onwards, in addition to the open category, girls and boys under 14 years old will compete, as well as under 10s in mixed teams. Sunday will feature the adaptive category. Furthermore, various off-water activities have been organized throughout the weekend for attendees to enjoy, including barbecues, live music, and children's workshops.
The schedule includes events from Friday to Sunday, featuring DJ Mario Azurza on Friday, a concert by the group Barrrk on Saturday, and a skate competition on Sunday. Additionally, a sustainability and environment workshop for children is planned for Saturday, with the awards ceremony taking place on Sunday afternoon.
