Ane Bosch, an athlete from Azkoitia, has secured another victory this weekend. This time, she earned the gold medal by winning the 3,000-meter race in the U18 category at the Gipuzkoa Championship. The event took place on Saturday at the Mojategi athletics track in Arrasate, and the Azkoitia runner completed the race in 10:55.23.
Saturday marked Bosch's fifth medal in just over a month. Last month, she won the 1,500-meter Gipuzkoa Championship and also the Euskadi Championship over the same distance.
They achieved "very good" times.
Furthermore, Bosch's teammates, Azpeitia runners Ibai Maiz and Laia Urrestilla, also won a medal each in the 3,000-meter Gipuzkoa Championship. Maiz took first place in the U18 category, finishing the three kilometers in 9:24.99. Urrestilla, on the other hand, won the silver medal in the U16 category, completing the race in 11:58.39.
In addition to these three athletes, several other Xeye runners competed in various 100m and 800m races during the event in Arrasate on Saturday, and they also achieved "very good" times.
