This year, registrations will be accepted on the day of the event before it begins, at a tent set up by the association next to the clocks on the La Concha promenade.

Participation fees are six euros for those up to 12 years old and eight euros for adults. This fee includes a gift bag with products from supporting organizations and a raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for five euros.

The competition rules state that constructions will be made within 3x3 meter plots, teams will consist of a maximum of four people, and only hands, containers, shovels, and rakes may be used. Participants must bring their own materials, although the organizers will provide some containers and shovels.

A jury will evaluate the creativity, presentation, originality, difficulty, and execution of the sandcastles. Prizes include the ATECE Award, the Most Creative Construction Award, and the Most Artistic Construction Award.

To add an artistic touch, renowned sand art creators, Ismael Arejula and Germen Cedano, will be present, creating works outside of the competition.
