Sara Escudero Mujika from Legazpi has secured the championship title in category A of the Youth Aurresku Championship. The eighth edition of the competition took place yesterday morning at the Niessen hall in Errenteria, where the young dancer from the Sustraiak dance group outperformed 11 other participants. Furthermore, she has been declared the winner of the 2025-2026 Aurresku Championship league.
Following her victory, Escudero was presented with the commemorative award for the 2025-2026 Aurresku Championship winner, along with the trophy, staff, and medal for the VIII Gipuzkoa Youth Aurresku Championship. Her instructor, Naroa Sanchez Rodriguez, also received a commemorative award.
Sara Escudero Mujika (Legazpi) was the winner of category A.
In category B, Yisha Wang Xu from Legazpi achieved second place, finishing behind Lur Lacasta Santisteban from Lezo. A total of twelve dancers competed for the title in this category.
Two other participants from the Goierri region also secured notable positions: in category A, Laia Illarreta Lopez from Legorreta came in third, and in category B, Haizea Arin Conde from Ataun also placed third.
