Ainhoa Vichez, Nico Guinea, Diego Arnaiz, Héctor González, Leire Ruiz, and Iñaki Ugarte are participating in the LanAukera program, an EHLABE initiative designed to help them develop skills and advance towards their professional goals.

At INDESA, participants have had the opportunity to learn about the operations of various work areas. After three months in Lortu (industrial area), they have begun a new phase in Lavandería (Laundry), where they continue to gain experience and discover their capabilities and professional preferences.
Ainhoa Vichez enjoys her time at INDESA and likes sports, particularly cycling and treadmill training. Nico Guinea is highly motivated to be part of INDESA and always strives to overcome obstacles. Diego Arnaiz values the opportunity to meet new people, learn, and build relationships.
Héctor González is interested in tattooing and graffiti, and is preparing an initiative to support the fight against childhood cancer. Leire Ruiz, despite having retinitis pigmentosa, loves water and swimming, and has learned Braille to adapt. Iñaki Ugarte is determined to work and dreams of buying the farmhouse where he lived with his father.
The program, promoted by EHLABE – Inclusión Sociolaboral, is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (FSE+) and supported by Fundación Vital Fundazioa.
Participants emphasize the importance of punctuality, task completion, consistency, and responsibility. They also value the support received and the opportunity to ask for help when needed.
They would recommend the LanAukera program to other individuals with disabilities as a valuable opportunity for initial contact with the working world and to understand the meaning of work, encouraging participation with a willingness to learn and a commitment to responsibility.
