Bilbao City Council has completed the renovation works on the Ugarte slope in Otxarkoaga, opening a new children's play area for citizens.

Following the completion of the conditioning works on the Ugarte slope, located between Garaizar and Ugarte streets, the resulting children's space from this intervention has been opened to the public.
The project has involved the creation of two children's play areas: one integrated into the hillside, featuring platforms, bridges, climbing nets, and a slide, and another on a lower platform, equipped with swings (one inclusive), seesaws, spring riders, a carousel, and a multifunctional structure.
The works also encompassed terrain adaptation, the construction of new stairs and access points, revegetation of the slopes, and the installation of lighting, benches, a fountain, and protective elements.
This action is part of the Auzokide Plan for District 3.
