The women's team achieved a notable feat, as this was their first participation in the Spanish Championship for this discipline, and they emerged victorious. After easily passing yesterday's qualifying round, the Orio rowers competed today against Pasai Donibane, Tiran, and Astillero. Despite facing strong rivals, the team from Gipuzkoa won by a margin of almost 5 seconds, with a time of 15:45.67. Astillero finished third, nearly 23 seconds behind, and Tiran was fourth, losing 39 seconds.
In the men's competition, Orio also demonstrated clear dominance. The team won the regatta in 13:47.49, finishing 5 seconds ahead of Zierbena, who came in second. Chapela secured third place, 27 seconds behind, and Castreña finished fourth, 35 seconds adrift.
