Registration Open for the III Xoxote Ascent in Azpeitia

The III Xoxote Ascent, organized by Azpeitiko Gaztetxea, has opened registrations for the race scheduled for April 25.

Azpeitiko Gaztetxea has opened registration for the III Xoxote Ascent, a mountain race scheduled for April 25, featuring a 4.9-kilometer route and a 900-meter elevation gain.

As part of Gazte Astea, Azpeitiko Gaztetxea has organized the III Xoxote Ascent, a friendly sports event set to take place on Saturday, April 25. This race covers four kilometers with a 900-meter elevation gain, starting in front of the plaza kiosk in Azpeitia at 11:00 AM.
Participation requires a five-euro registration fee. Tables for registration will be set up in the town square on Thursday and Friday, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additionally, registration is also available at Haginpe and Mendizale bars. Organizers have stated that the registration fee includes the bib number, race insurance, and a traditional hamaiketako (mid-morning snack).
Bib numbers will be distributed on April 25 itself in the plaza, between 09:30 AM and 10:50 AM, prior to the race start. Furthermore, Azpeitiko Gaztetxea has also organized a mountain walk for the same day, departing from the plaza at 10:00 AM, for those wishing to observe the Xoxote Ascent.
