Iraurgi Berritzen, with the support of the Azpeitia City Council and Lanbide, will offer a base grant of €2,000 to individuals looking to develop their business idea and launch their own economic activity.

This initiative is aimed at individuals with ideas for starting their own business who wish to analyze the viability of their project. Selected entrepreneurs will receive a €2,000 grant to work on their business idea. This amount will be increased by 15% for those under 30 years old, and by another 15% for women.
In addition to financial support, entrepreneurs will receive the necessary tools and advice to analyze, develop their idea, and turn it into a viable business. Applications can be submitted until November 12th. Throughout the process, participants will have individual mentoring sessions, lasting between three and five months, to refine their business idea, assess its feasibility, and prepare the steps for launching their economic activity.
The program is aimed at entrepreneurs from Azkoitia, Azpeitia, Aizarnazabal, Beizama, Errezil, and Zestoa. Key requirements include being over 18 years old, being unemployed and registered as a job seeker, having a business idea, and not having been registered in their own economic activity in the previous year. Individuals not working more than 30% of a full-time job can also participate, provided they meet the other conditions. Participants must commit to developing their project and, after completing the mentoring process, register their economic activity within a maximum of three months.
The program plans to support eight entrepreneurs. Interested individuals must submit their application by November 12th through the Azpeitia City Council. For further information, they can contact Iraurgi Berritzen (688718777, Alazne Larrañaga) or the Azpeitia City Council (HAZ).
