In last year's inaugural event, approximately 50 people rowed in ten teams, including not only gastronomic societies but also various cultural and sports organizations. The Lizardi society ultimately emerged as the winner.

Those interested in participating this year have until Sunday to register by completing the questionnaire on the Izenematea.eus website. Key participation requirements include forming mixed teams and having at least one member with rowing experience or knowledge.

Each team must pay a 200 euro deposit to use the equipment provided by the TAK Oria club, which will be refunded after the race. Participants with any questions can contact the municipal sports department.
