Donostia City Council has approved a motion to unify the Loiolako Erribera train interchange and Anoeta-Loiola section covering projects, presented by the PNV and EH Bildu.

Donostia City Council has unanimously approved, with the abstention of the PSE, the unification of the preliminary project for the Loiolako Erribera train interchange with the plan to cover the Anoeta-Loiola section. The motion, jointly presented by the PNV and EH Bildu, aims to "alleviate noise pollution and facilitate urban integration".
Furthermore, the Basque Government has been urged to carry out the Anoeta-Loiola section covering project in collaboration with Donostia City Council and with the participation of local residents. The municipal groups have also requested the connection of the Park of Memory and Amaiur Park.

"The objective must be to provide real solutions to citizens, based on responsibility and agreement, and not to use neighbors' problems for political confrontation."

PSE spokesperson
The Socialists explained their abstention by highlighting the need for "responsible and coordinated activity," and that any solution must stem from "technical rigor, institutional responsibility, and collaboration with affected residents."
