This Saturday, in Sopela, a bike check-up service will be available from 09:00, offering brake and tire inspections. The adult route will start at 09:30 along the beach roads and cycle paths, while the children's route will begin at 10:15 through the town's streets. Both routes will conclude at the Town Hall square, where a breakfast will be served to the children.

This event will also serve to unveil the improvements to the cycle path network connecting the beach and the town center. The City Council is promoting more sustainable mobility by providing a safe alternative for cyclists and pedestrians. Furthermore, the route through the town streets will educate children on helmet use and basic traffic rules.

Registration is open from May 12th to 31st. Sign-ups can be completed online via the sopela.eus website or in person at the Kurtzio cultural center.
