The Leioa City Council has prepared a comprehensive summer camp program for July, organizing three distinct initiatives: Uda, Uda Txiki, and Gazte Uda, tailored to various age groups.

As the summer holidays approach, the Leioa City Council has unveiled its summer camp offerings, aimed at the children and youth of the municipality. The goal is to provide families with a break and to foster learning and active leisure among participants. To achieve this, three different programs have been designed, based on age.
The Uda program is intended for children born between 2013 and 2019, who must be registered in Leioa at least six months prior to the registration period, which will open from May 20 to 30. A total of 400 places will be offered per fortnight, divided into two shifts: from June 29 to July 14 and from July 15 to 30. Activities will take place from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00, with the option of early entry at 9:00. The price will be 45 euros per fortnight for subscribers to Leioa's sports facilities and 72.70 euros for non-subscribers. The draw for places will be held on May 15 at 9:00.
On the other hand, Uda Txiki is designed for the youngest children, born between 2020 and 2023, registered in Leioa or enrolled in a public school in the municipality. These camps will take place from July 1 to 30, with the option of fortnightly registration (from July 1 to 15 and from July 16 to 30). Activities will be organized in the centers of Txomin Aresti, Artatza-Pinueta, Altzaga, and San Bartolome, from 9:00 to 14:00.
A free childcare service will be offered from 8:00, as well as midday care (with additional cost) from 14:00 to 16:00. The registration fee will be 172.16 euros for the full month and 86.08 euros per fortnight, with reductions based on the number of siblings enrolled and for recipients of the Income Guarantee Rent or the Minimum Vital Income. In this case, the registration period will be from May 18 to 29. The public draw, if necessary, will take place on June 10 at 13:00.
Similarly, the City Council proposes the Gazte Uda initiative for young people born between 2009 and 2012, registered in the locality. This program will have 80 places and will run from June 29 to July 10. Activities are planned from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00, and will include a full-day weekly excursion. The price will be 40 euros for those with the Kultur Leioa Friend Card and 65 euros for those without it. The registration period will be from May 20 to 30, and the draw for places will take place on May 13 at 12:00.
Registrations for all types of summer camps can be formalized through the municipal electronic headquarters (udaletxean.leioa.eus) and also at the Citizen Attention Services. In addition, the City Council provides citizens with various information points such as the Sakoneta sports center, Torresolo, or Aterpe Leioa Gaztegunea.
