The Leioa City Council has launched a poster contest to choose the new image for the XXVII edition of the Umore Azoka, the Street Artists' Fair, which will take place from May 6 to 9, 2027.

The Council has initiated the usual contest, open to both individuals and companies. Each participant can submit a maximum of two works, and the winning proposal will receive a prize of 1,400 euros.
The contest rules emphasize creativity and original authorship. Drawings, photographs, or illustrations must be original and unpublished, and cannot be generated by artificial intelligence. The technique used is free.
Submissions must be bilingual, in Basque and Spanish, and include the official information for the XXVII edition. Works that do not respect the established measures or text, infringe upon personal dignity, are considered plagiarized, or are AI-generated will be disqualified.
The aim is for the poster to convey the philosophy and image of Umore Azoka, one of the main street arts events in Leioa.
The winning design will serve as the main image for the fair across various media and formats, including invitations, posters, banners, and other communication materials. The winner must also provide editable files of the design.
Proposals can be submitted until November 13 at Kultur Leioa. Works should be presented under a pseudonym and without the author's signature, accompanied by identification details, a brief CV, phone number, and ID in a sealed envelope. The winning poster will be announced during December.
