Derio to Host Bilbao International Puppet Festival Again This Year

From November 15th to 22nd, companies from Hungary, Italy, France, and Murcia will present four shows for audiences of all ages.

Derio will once again host the Bilbao International Puppet Festival from November 15th to 22nd. During these dates, international and local companies will present four shows in the town, aimed at audiences of all ages.

The festival will feature 'Budapesteko txotxongiloak' by Bence Sarkadi (Hungary) on Sunday, November 15th at 12:00 PM at the Gurea Aretoa. Following this, on Thursday, November 19th at 11:00 AM, Compagnia Pouët (Italy-France) will perform 'Egnatia' at the PAI Bitartean day center.
Behibi Teatro Antzerkia will present its show 'Bueltaka' on Friday, November 20th at 6:00 PM at the Gurea Aretoa. The festival will conclude with 'Historia de una muñeca abandonada' by Silfo Teatro (Murcia) on Sunday, November 22nd at 12:00 PM, also at the Gurea Aretoa. This performance is based on a text by Alfonso Sastre and combines recycled art with theater.
