The Bilbao City Council, through its Human Rights, Coexistence, Cooperation, and Interculturality Area, hosted the 4th Meeting of the Bilbao Migrant Women Community last Friday, October 23rd, at BBK Kuna.

The event brought together over 30 migrant women from various sectors in Bilbao, aiming to foster professional relationships and create new opportunities for collaboration and development. The day was based on the “Netbonding” methodology, promoting shared goals, collaboration, and mutual respect.
This initiative is part of the Bilbao Migrant Women Community, a project stemming from the annual Recognition of Bilbao Migrant Women, an initiative driven by the Bilbao City Council since 2019. Its purpose is to highlight and give visibility to the contributions of migrant women in the city's social, cultural, economic, and community life.
During the event, in the "TEDx Zone", two migrant women shared their personal and professional experiences. Subsequently, the participating women and invited entities presented their backgrounds, proposals, and resources.
