The TREBA Gazteak program, an initiative by the Youth Directorate of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa aimed at empowering young people, will be held in Legazpi this November. The activities will combine leisure, training, and creation, addressing topics of youth interest such as new technologies, intersectional feminism, and emotional well-being.
The Legazpi City Council, through its Childhood, Adolescence, and Youth Service, has participated in previous editions and aims to expand spaces for youth reflection and participation.
From November 13th to 15th, an escape room will take place at the Culture House. Participants will tackle challenges related to new technologies, intersectional feminism, and emotional well-being. Pre-registration is required in groups of 2 to 6 people, for individuals up to 30 years old, with one-hour sessions.
On November 27th, the workshop 'Aske ON: anitz eta desberdin' will be held, facilitated by Agueda Blasco Egia. Aimed at young people aged 17 to 24, it will explore the social construction of identity and the influence of gender, power relations, and other social axes on their lives, providing tools to critically question internalized ideas and foster mutual support.
Additionally, participants will have the chance to prepare a podcast with the collaboration of content creator Malen Altuna, addressing the workshop's themes from their own perspectives.
On November 28th, an episode of the TREBA Gazteak podcast will be recorded. Supported by Malen Altuna, young people will learn about the podcast creation and recording process, with opportunities to share ideas or observe as an audience. The podcast aims to be a space for expressing viewpoints and discussing issues affecting their daily lives.
All activities are free, but prior registration is essential. TREBA Gazteak seeks to connect with young people's interests and communication styles, blending leisure, education, and participation.
