The Ertzaintza arrested two men, aged 26 and 27, last Thursday, accused of theft after stealing a dozen ONCE coupons from a visually impaired vendor in Donostia's Gros neighborhood.

The incident occurred on Thursday, April 10, at 12:10 PM, when two individuals approached an ONCE sales stand. While one distracted the 45-year-old blind vendor, the other reached into the stand and snatched a dozen coupons.
A witness observed the theft and alerted the Ertzaintza, providing a detailed description of the two alleged perpetrators. Police resources located the two suspects, whose description matched that provided by the witness.
Shortly after, Ertzaintza agents found the two suspects, with one of them carrying the stolen coupons. Consequently, both men were arrested on charges of theft, and the tickets were returned to the vendor.
The detainees, the younger of whom had a police record, were taken to police facilities for processing. Once the procedures were completed, they were placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
