The Port Police of Pasaia has launched a new control center aimed at enhancing its surveillance capabilities and ensuring uninterrupted service. The Port Authority has invested 618,700 euros to equip these new facilities, which span 280 square meters and are located on the first floor of the Badia building.
The new premises include a room with screens for two workstations, an office, a small kitchen area, and restrooms. This center complements the existing one on the ground floor of the Trasatlántico building, providing a reinforced protection network for monitoring port activities.
“"Thanks to this intervention, the APP has a reinforced and adapted protection network to continuously meet its activity supervision needs."
As reported by the Port Authority, this initiative will safeguard the 24-hour service, maintaining a high level of security within the Gipuzkoa docklands.
