The jeltzale party acknowledges that the project, initiated during the previous legislature, has seen continuity with actions such as land acquisition and the drafting of the urbanization project. However, they warn that these steps alone are insufficient to guarantee the project's full development.
According to EAJ-PNV, two fundamental conditions were necessary to advance the initiative: the purchase of the land and the modification of its use from industrial to public equipment. While the first requirement has been met, the second “remains unresolved after three years of the current mandate,” the jeltzale party denounces.
It is not enough to announce progress if the necessary steps are not completed.
Therefore, the jeltzale group demands that the local executive immediately prioritize this urban planning procedure and begin its approval “as soon as possible.” “It is essential to accelerate this process to ensure that the project progresses safely and within appropriate deadlines,” the PNV adds.
EAJ-PNV also emphasizes that the new institute responds to a shared demand from the citizens of Aretxabaleta, recalling that the project was promoted during the previous legislature when the jeltzale party held the Mayor's Office. In this context, they appeal to the municipal government's “responsibility” to act with greater diligence.
This project is a priority for the municipality and must be treated as such. It is time to move from announcements to actions and to fulfill the steps that are still pending.
