Mikel Bergara, a member of the organizing committee, expressed his "satisfaction" with the reception of the mountain bike march. "It went well, there were no serious accidents, and the route was excellent, with little mud," he stated. The Mondranbike march organizers make a "special effort" each year to prepare a circuit suitable for people of all levels. This year, for instance, the enduro circuits and the XCO –an easy route– had very little in common.
Bergara acknowledged that they had done "a lot of work" in the preceding days to clear the route, and therefore, he mentioned that the participants were also pleased. With favorable weather, the 166 people who completed the pre-registration –along with about twenty more who registered on the day itself– took advantage of an excellent opportunity to have fun.
After the march concluded, a paella meal was held in the Jose Maria Arizmendiarrieta square. Bergara also described this event as "a success".
