The Bergara City Council has announced that all parking spaces designated for the Itzulia's needs must be cleared by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 11th. Affected areas include Boni Laskurain street, Agorrosin car park, Matxiategi street, Cemetery car park, Oxirondo car park, Urdangarin promenade, Lizaria, Zubieta, Masterreka, Burdiñate, and Urarte. The council has installed signage and distributed notices on parked vehicles.
These cleared areas will be utilized by the race organization and participants. Furthermore, in Bergara, some locations will serve as key points of interest for fans, such as the finish line on Matxiategi street, the podium to be set up in Oxirondo, and the bus area on Urarte street.
To mitigate parking shortages, the Bergara City Council has opened two alternative areas: the courtyard of San Martín school and the courtyard of Ipintza Institute. Both spaces are currently available but must be vacated again by 4:00 PM on April 12th. The council advises residents to travel on foot as much as possible during the weekend and to respect all signage.
In Antzuola, changes will also be implemented on the day of the event. From 7:00 AM onwards, Buztinzuri street, Kalebarren, Herriko Plaza, and Antigua will be free of private vehicles. Parking will also be prohibited in Oerlikon, though special parking zones will be set up in Elay and Meatz Erreka throughout the morning. Team buses will be positioned along the GI-632 road, utilizing various points from Antzuola to the start of the Deskarga pass.
Road closures are also anticipated. One lane will be closed from the Eguzki neighborhood to San Blas starting at 11:00 AM, and intersections will be closed half an hour before the stage begins, around 1:20 PM. On the AP-636, in Antzuola, the exit will be completely closed in both directions from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM. On the AP-1, in Bergara, the Bergara North exit will be fully closed from 2:15 PM to 5:20 PM. Finally, on the AP-1, in Arrasate, signaling personnel will be present from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and exits may be temporarily closed.
