The fair will take place from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM in the covered square of Errebal, bringing together proposals from local commerce, agroecological production, fair trade, social and solidarity economy, crafts, and sustainable fashion, along with workshops and activities.
This event has consolidated year after year as a meeting point for ecological food, responsible consumption, and the promotion of more sustainable production and consumption models. Thanks to the collaboration of ENEEK-Ekolurra, from October 19th to 23rd, 5-euro vouchers will be distributed at Basagune in Errebal square for use at the fair, with a minimum purchase of 15 euros in organic products.
On the day of the fair, Miriam Chefintegrativa will offer the EKOrecetas activity, with the preparation and tasting of recipes made with organic and seasonal products. Additionally, this year, LUSAI bar will offer 50 EKOdesayunos, accompanied by live music from artist Sofía Machín.
The program also includes children's workshops, awareness-raising activities on responsible consumption, a guided tour of the REAS Euskadi exhibition, and other proposals related to responsible consumption alternatives. Debegesa will provide information on its kit for measuring household energy efficiency, and there will be a collection point for used mobile phones.
The Mayor of Eibar, Jon Iraola, highlighted the importance of bringing these alternatives closer to citizens, stating that "consuming more responsibly is within everyone's reach" and that "opting for local products and supporting those who produce sustainably are small gestures that have a positive impact on our economy and the environment."
For her part, the Councilor for Economic Development, Vanesa Hortas, emphasized the fair's role as a "showcase for proximity commerce, producers, and projects linked to the social and solidarity economy."
To complete the program, the works submitted to the 2026 Artistic Poster Contest, under the theme "Seeds that transform: women and rights that sustain life," will be exhibited, with awards presented at the end of the fair.
