Two boats from the Zumaia rowing team participated last Saturday, the 11th, in the veteran trainera regattas held in Mundaka (Bizkaia). Traineras from the two leagues they are competing in this year gathered there, with the second division boats competing first, followed by the first division ones.
The most positive news came from the B veteran boat of Zumaia, as it achieved victory in its league. The Zumaia team classified ahead of the B boat from Badok 13 Orio, with Plentzia B taking third place. The rowers from Zumaia had the opportunity to wave the flag in Mundaka, but also in the town itself. The flag they won has been placed on the door of the club's premises at the Itsas Kiroldegia.
In the first division league, the Zumaia boat finished in fourth position in Mundaka, behind Badok 13 Orio, Getxo, and Fortuna.
