Vitoria-Gasteiz OTA to Extend Summer Holiday Period from 2026

The regulated parking service will cease operations from August 1st, four days earlier than in previous years, extending its summer break.

The regulated parking service in Vitoria-Gasteiz, known as OTA, will extend its summer holiday period starting from 2026, ceasing operations from August 1st, four days earlier than in previous years.

This adjustment means the OTA will not be active from August 1st onwards, a change from the previous practice of operating until August 4th. This measure is stipulated in Vitoria-Gasteiz's regulated parking ordinance, which was approved and came into effect at the end of August 2025.
The new regulation not only alters the summer schedule. It also includes the expansion to 5 additional zones implemented last summer, as well as modifications to fines. In addition to the summer break, the OTA is also inactive on the afternoons of December 24th and 31st.
The regular operating hours for the service are as follows: Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00; on Saturdays, from 10:00 to 14:00.
