As is customary each year, the necessary tests to work as a lifeguard on the beaches of the Bizkaia coast have been conducted. This time, the municipality of Plentzia was chosen to host the event, where candidates had to demonstrate their skills.

The call for applications generated considerable interest, with 110 people initially registered. However, ultimately 95 candidates presented themselves in Plentzia, ready to collect their bibs and face the physical and technical challenges.

These examinations are crucial for ensuring safety on Bizkaia's beaches during the summer season. Participants must pass various tests, including swimming, rescue simulations, and first aid knowledge, to certify their training and effectiveness.
