New campaign launched to boost commerce in Zabalgana

The Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, in collaboration with Gasteiz On and Zabalgana Batuz, has launched the 'Buy and Win in Zabalgana' campaign to boost local commerce in the neighborhood.

María Nanclares, the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Employment, Commerce, and Tourism of Vitoria-Gasteiz, participated this morning in the presentation of the initiative. The campaign is driven by Gasteiz On and Zabalgana Batuz, and sponsored by the City Council. It also has the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Álava, the Baskonia-Alavés Foundation, and Viajes Azulmarino.
Also speaking at the event were David Brea, president of the Zabalgana Batuz Association; Patricia García, manager of Gasteiz On; and Naroa Romo, owner of Naroa Informática.

"One of the City Council's priorities is to revitalize the commerce of our city, on this occasion in one of its emerging neighborhoods. That is why we support this proposal. We encourage those who live in Zabalgana and those who do not want to miss this opportunity to shop at the local businesses in this neighborhood. They will be able to participate in the draw for interesting prizes. From April 15 to May 15."

The 'Buy and Win in Zabalgana' campaign focuses on the importance of consuming in local businesses. From April 15 to May 15, all purchases made in participating establishments, whether or not they are associated with Gasteiz On, will grant an entry into a draw for various prizes.
To participate, simply write contact details on the back of the purchase receipt and deposit it in the ballot boxes available at the establishments. The initiative is sponsored by the Commerce Service of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, with the collaboration of the Commerce Department of the Provincial Council of Álava.
A total of 42 businesses from sectors such as bars and cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, health and beauty stores, and food shops have joined the campaign. All of them can be easily recognized by the posters displayed in their shop windows and can be consulted on the Gasteiz On website. Prizes include a 50-euro 'Regala Gasteiz' card, a weekend trip for two people, and tickets for Baskonia and Alavés matches, courtesy of Gasteiz On, Azulmarino Viajes, and the Baskonia Alavés Foundation, respectively.
