Zabalgana, the most populated neighborhood in Vitoria-Gasteiz, is hosting La Burger Fest, the third hamburger festival to visit the Álava capital in just over a year.
From Thursday the 28th to Sunday the 31st of May, the event will gather 8 food trucks offering a variety of hamburgers and 'cheesecakes' to enjoy outdoors.
The chosen venue is the square on Villabuena de Álava street, located between Oion street and Avenida de los Derechos Humanos, which features ample empty plots.
The event, organized in collaboration by the neighborhood association Zabalgana Batuz and La Burger Fest, will have the following hours: Thursdays from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM; Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM; and Sundays from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Entry is free, and residents of Zabalgana will receive vouchers for a free drink, which will be distributed at local businesses.
In addition to food and drink, the festival will feature live music, transforming the space into "a festive gastronomic zone" in the heart of Zabalgana.
The hamburger craze is strongly felt in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Following visits from The Champions Burger and The Champions Cup, La Burger Fest is debuting its location in Zabalgana with the aim of attracting hundreds of visitors.
