On September 23rd, the first group of the Lan Aukera program began in Lortu, comprising 10 participants who will receive training in industrial and laundry areas.

Before starting their work placements, participants received training on occupational risk prevention and the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to begin working from day one.
During these initial months, they are carrying out various tasks in the industrial area: preparation and labeling of screw bags, assembly and filling of boxes, weighing, labeling, and placement of alarms on pet product packages, among other activities.
In these first weeks, the group is achieving good work paces and progressively adapting to the tasks. Personal and professional competencies will also continue to be developed during this stage.
On January 18th, the group will move to the Laundry area, where they will begin learning new tasks such as stretching garments, inspecting clothes, folding fitted sheets, or hanging them.
Until then, they will continue working at Lortu and consolidating the skills acquired in the industrial area.
