The works that began in September in Andra Mari are advancing in Orio, currently focusing on infrastructure tasks. The main objective is to prevent floods in the area, for which the rainwater network is being adapted and a pumping system prepared. Additionally, work is underway to adapt the piping in the vicinity of Kaia street.
As a result of these works, a section of Kaia street, between numbers 3 and 5, will be closed from today until the completion of this phase of the project to ensure safety. In this section, only local residents and users will have passage. In the coming weeks, work will continue around the entrance to the sports center to install new piping.
Throughout the duration of the works, access to buildings will be guaranteed at all times, although, depending on the tasks, alternative routes may need to be used on occasion. The City Council will continue to update information on the progress of the works and any potential changes, and requests citizens to respect the signage and closures.
The City Council apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the works and changes, and thanks citizens for their understanding.
