The Gorbeialdea Cuadrilla has opened registration for its Mintzalagun and Gurasolagun programs, providing new opportunities for Basque practice in the region.

The Gorbeialdea Cuadrilla has once again launched its annual call for registration in the Mintzalagun and Gurasolagun programs, aimed at residents of the region. This initiative offers an excellent way to practice Basque in a colloquial setting with a fixed schedule, thereby improving oral proficiency.
Mintzalagun groups bring together speakers with the common goal of conversing in Basque, fostering oral practice. They are considered a great opportunity for those wishing to enhance their fluency in the language.
Additionally, Gorbeialdea features special Gurasolagun Taldeak (Parent Groups). These are essentially Mintzalagun groups, but they consist of parents meeting with their children, creating a family-oriented environment for Basque practice.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, a special call is made to «Bidelagunak» (Companions), proficient Basque speakers who wish to assist program participants in their language practice. Their collaboration will be greatly appreciated.
Throughout the month of October, interested individuals can register. The registration form, available in the brochure, should be sent to gorbeialdea@mintzalaguna.eus or euskara@gorbeialdea.eus. Assistance will be provided for any inquiries.
