On Wednesday, June 10, the public will have the opportunity to learn about the restoration works carried out on the ground floor of the Santa Clara convent in Zarautz.

The event, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, is titled Rehabilitación y valores patrimoniales: Convento Santa Clara de Zarautz. During the session, architecture experts and municipal technical staff will detail the intervention criteria applied to the historic site.
The project has focused on balancing the preservation of the building's heritage values with its adaptation as a public facility for social and cultural purposes, ensuring the space meets modern community needs.
This visit marks the conclusion of the Ondarea Orain program, promoted by the Culture department of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council. The program aimed to examine the region's cultural heritage from a contemporary perspective and share key research and developments with the public.
