The Urola Kosta Municipal Association (UKUE) has advanced to the next stage of the 'Polygons for All' project. Following the technical study conducted in recent months and the participatory process developed from March to April, a diagnosis of the current situation of the industrial estates in Getaria, Aia, and Zumaia has been completed.
Throughout the process, opinions from companies located in the industrial areas, their employees, suppliers, and other users have been gathered. The aim is to obtain a comprehensive perspective on identified needs and improvement opportunities. Six strategic axes were analyzed for the diagnosis: security, traffic, accessibility, public transport, symbolic representation, and naturalization.
To share and contrast the diagnostic results, online sessions have been organized with companies and employees from the analyzed industrial estates. After visits this week to the Olaskoegia-Ubegun industrial estate in Aia and the industrial estates in Zumaia (Estazioko polygon, Joxe Mari Korta polygon, and 'Xey' polygon), the industrial estates in Getaria (Igarategi-San Prudentzio and Txori-Tonpe) will have their turn on July 1st, Wednesday, at 9:30 AM.
These sessions will present the main conclusions of the work carried out, while also gathering assessments and proposals from companies and employees. These contributions will form the basis for defining the action plan to be developed in the next phase of the project.
Registration is required at the Urola Kosta Municipal Association to participate in the session scheduled for next week in Getaria. For more information, you can write to enpresa@urolakosta.eus or call 943 890 808.
The objective of the 'Polygons for All' project is to make the industrial estates in Urola Kosta safer, more accessible, and more attractive. To achieve this, the diagnostic conclusions and the latest contributions from participants will be used to determine the priorities for future actions.
