The Iturraran nature center in Aia will offer a unique opportunity next Friday, August 14th, to observe the Perseids in an environment free from light pollution.

The Iturraran nature center, located in the Pagoeta nature park, will provide a chance to experience one of the summer's astronomical spectacles, the Perseids, in an unforgettable way on August 14th. The activity will begin at 10:00 PM and will be guided by Jesus Arregi, an expert in astronomy, on a guided tour through the sky.
If capacity is reached, a second session will be organized the following day, August 15th. Explanations will be given in Basque. To participate in this activity, adults will need to pay 8 euros and children, 6 euros (for ages 3-12). Registration can be done by calling 943.835389 or writing to iturraran@gipuzkoanatura.eus.
Furthermore, on August 14th and 21st, there will also be an opportunity to learn how to make talo at the Iturraran nature center, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. This visit can be complemented with a tour of the Agorregi ironworks and mills, where participants will have an excellent opportunity to make and taste their own talo. Prices will be the same: 8 euros for adults and 6 euros for children.
