In August, coinciding with the Andra Mari festivals, Lurraldebus will offer special services in the Deba region. These services will extend nighttime schedules and fares, allowing for the enjoyment of the festivals in a safe and sustainable manner.
Departures from Azkoitia will be at 00:40, 1:30, 2:40, 3:30, 4:40, 5:30, and 6:40. The latter is only on the night from Friday to Saturday, specifically August 14th to 15th. The routes will also cover Azpeitia (at 0:50, 1:40, 2:50, 3:40, 4:50, 5:40, and 6:50), Zestoa (at 1:50, 3:50, and 5:50), and Zumaia (at 2:10, 4:10, and 6:10).
Additionally, on the night from Tuesday (the 18th) to Wednesday (the 19th), there will be a special departure at 3:30 from Azkoitia, which will reach Errezil at 3:55. Furthermore, on Saturday, the 15th, the usual Saturday night services will also be available.
The deputy emphasized that "to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festivals in a sustainable, accessible, and, above all, safe manner, we are implementing special Lurraldebus services for travel to Deba." He added that supporting a quality public service not only enables progress towards more sustainable mobility but also contributes to improving citizens' quality of life, guaranteeing safety, and democratizing access to various aspects of life, including leisure, while ensuring equal opportunities for all.
He reminded that, following the removal of the nighttime fare for Lurraldebus, these services operate with daytime tariffs, resulting in significant savings for users. Schedules can be consulted on the Lurraldebus website or by calling the user assistance line at 900 300 340.
