The Soreasu theater in Azpeitia has organized special cinema screenings for this weekend, offering the opportunity to watch audiovisual works by local directors on the big screen and engage in discussions with them.

For the adult sessions, on Sunday, several chapters of the series Piztiak, directed by Xanti Rodriguez and Amancay Gaztañaga, will be screened at 7:30 PM. This series was filmed in two farmhouses in Urrestilla, a shop, the town center, the parish church, and the square of Azpeitia, and will premiere on EITB's Primeran platform. The Azpeitia-based production company Ospel Films produced it with funding from EITB's call for new creators.
On Monday, the documentary Eraman zutela, directed by Deñe Gracia-Bravo and Mikel Balerdi, will be shown at 9:00 PM. This audiovisual work tells the story of two individuals executed at the beginning of the 1936 War. It has received several awards, including the Silver Goose and a special mention at the Lekeitio Basque Film Meeting, and two awards (jury and audience) at the Uhezinema festival.
During these screenings, the audience will have the opportunity to converse with the directors to learn details about the creative process of their works. These sessions have been organized by the cultural cooperative Kulturaz.
There will also be a children's cinema session on Sunday afternoon, starting at 4:30 PM, at the Soreasu theater. The animated film Tafiti eta lagunak will be screened in Basque, combining adventure and comedy. This film tells the story of friendship between the young meerkat Tafiti and the wild boar Bristles, full of unexpected events.
