Orio Town Council and Nine Organizations Unveil Summer Activity Program

Registration for the activities opens tomorrow, Tuesday, and will remain available until April 24, online or at Karela sports center.

The Orio Town Council, in collaboration with nine local organizations, has unveiled a comprehensive program of sports and leisure activities for the summer of 2026, with registration commencing tomorrow, Tuesday.

This extensive offering provides various options for all residents, and the registration process has been streamlined, allowing sign-ups both online and at the reception of the Karela sports center. Interested individuals will have until April 24 to secure their spots.
Among the entities that have organized the summer season activities are the leisure association Txurrumuski, the company NEO, the association Orio Bate Bizkorrak, the Orioko Futbol Taldea, the Orio Arraunketa Elkartea, the Orio Itxastresna Surf Kluba, the Orio Eragin Eskubaloi Kluba, the Orioko Atletismo Taldea, and the ZAST Zarautz Saskibaloi Taldea.
Txurrumuski, as is customary, will organize open summer camps for July, from 09:00 to 13:00, with an additional childcare service available from 07:30. Furthermore, the Gazte Abentura camps will be offered from August 3 to 14, targeting youngsters from 3rd to 6th grade of Primary School, on a full-day schedule.
The remaining sports activities will be coordinated by local sports clubs and the sports center, providing a diverse range of opportunities for young people and adults in Orio throughout the summer months.
