Orio Rowing Club Secures Four Medals at Banyoles Championship

Cadet, junior, and U23 rowers achieved two silvers and one bronze at the Spanish Mobile Kayak Championship.

The Orio Rowing Club has secured four medals this weekend at the Spanish Mobile Kayak Championship held in Banyoles (Catalonia), across the cadet, junior, and U23 categories.

The Orio Rowing Club entered fourteen boats into the competition and returned home with two silver medals and one bronze. Furthermore, four of their crews reached the A finals, and another three competed in the B finals.
The silver medals were awarded to Uxue Olaskoaga and Jare Miralles in the junior double scull, and to Joel Lizeaga and Ander Roig in the cadet double scull.
The bronze medal was won by the male junior quadruple scull team, consisting of Gorka Arrojeria, Imanol Iruretagoiena, Aimar Ikatzeta, and Axel Atorrasaga.
