Zarautz will transform into a hub for Basque literature for three days, from May 29 to 31, with the Literaturia initiative. Under the slogan 'Dar-Dar', a book fair, presentations, talks, and performances have been organized.

The municipality of Zarautz, in Gipuzkoa, will host a significant gathering for Basque literature from May 29 to 31. The Literaturia initiative, themed Dar-Dar this year, will feature a book fair, presentations, talks, and performances, promoting works created in or translated into Basque.
The festival will commence in a large tent set up in Lege Zaharra Square, where books from various publishers will be available and presentations will be held. Additional events will take place at Etxezabal, the Modelo Aretoa, or the first floor of the Mercado Plaza.
The program offers a diverse range of activities, including Imanol Epelde's work Zerbait sartu zait begietan, Itzulpena: ezinean, ekinean by Xabier Olarra, Uxue Rey, and Lide Hernando, a writing workshop by Mejillon Tigre, a musical storytelling session for adults by Ameli, and the musical performance Omen by the group Habia.
Tickets for some events can be purchased through the website or at the Modelo Aretoa box office. Literaturia, held in Zarautz since 2014, is part of the Doinuele network of cultural spaces.
