With the arrival of autumn, Zumaia's Foronda Cultural Center is bringing back its courses and workshops. The new offerings will run until the end of spring, and registration will open tomorrow, September 7. Interested individuals must sign up online via the website www.zumaia.eus. The enrollment period will be open until September 14.
If the number of applications exceeds available spots, priority will be given to local residents, followed by a lottery. For further information, citizens can visit the Alondegia Cultural Center between 09:30 and 14:00, or inquire by phone (943-86 10 56) or email (alondegia@zumaia.eus).
The basic painting course for children (grades 3-9) will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:30 to 20:00, with one group available. The main painting course offers two groups at the same Monday and Wednesday times, and two additional groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 15:00 to 16:30. The price for both these courses is 229.50 euros.
In ceramics, the introductory course has two groups on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, running from 15:30 to 17:00 and 17:00 to 18:30. Advanced ceramics will be offered on Tuesdays mornings (09:00-12:00) and Tuesdays and Wednesdays evenings (18:30-20:00). The cost for both ceramic courses is 240.50 euros.
The yoga program is also extensive: two main groups on Mondays and Wednesdays, in morning (10:00-11:30) and evening (18:30-20:00) slots, for 218.60 euros. A special yoga course for retirees and pensioners is organized at Torreberri, on Tuesdays and Thursdays in two time slots (09:15-10:30 and 10:45-12:00), priced at 101.85 euros.
Finally, the wood carving course will take place on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:00, in a single group, with a price of 229.50 euros.
