The youth team of Orio's Eragin handball club has successfully advanced through the Spanish Championship's Sector A this weekend, securing their spot in the Top 8 to be held in Mislata (Valencia).

The Eragin handball club had two important fixtures last weekend. On one hand, the senior team, known as Zuhegan, participated in the Basque League playoff in Berango (Bizkaia). Despite their efforts, their journey concluded after playing just one match, as they were unable to secure a victory.
On the other hand, the Dhemen-Zipri youth team played the Spanish Championship's Sector A at home, facing high-level opponents. Following the matches played, the team earned their ticket to compete in the Top 8. This next phase will take place from May 13 to 17 in Mislata (Valencia). Their group opponents will be Granollers, Beti Onak, and Elche.
Furthermore, the club has announced that the Sinergia children's team will travel to Ciudad Real (Madrid) from May 14 to 17 to play their sector matches. There, they will face Maravillas Malagarra and the Catalan team Santa Vicenç.
The rest of the club's teams, meanwhile, are competing in the Gipuzkoa Cups to conclude the season.
