EGI Elects New Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, Including Two Azkoitiarras

The youth organization of the Basque Nationalist Party has renewed its representation at the Provincial Assembly in Beasain, appointing leaders until 2028.

EGI, the organization comprising young people aged between 18 and 31, elected its new Gipuzkoa Provincial Council on March 21 at the Provincial Assembly held in Beasain, appointing its leaders for the 2026-2028 term.

This biennial assembly renews the representation of young jeltzales at the provincial level, electing the secretary and the members who will form the Provincial Council. Young people from various Municipal Organizations across Gipuzkoa participated in this year's assembly, and among them, the members who will hold provincial responsibilities for the next two years were selected.
Among the elected members are two individuals from Azkoitia: Bingen Aranbarri and Joxan Mendizabal. They will now serve as members of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council. Following meetings held around Easter, the specific responsibilities of the members have also been defined. Thus, Aranbarri will be in charge of internal organization, and Mendizabal will assume communication responsibilities.
The Gipuzkoa Provincial Council will be composed of the following members until 2028: Ander Olaizola (Zumaia) as secretary, and the other members will be Danel Odriozola (Ordizia), Lander Colas (Hondarribia), Lide Irurzun (Astigarraga), Eider Goia (Donostia, Old Town), Amaia Peon (Donostia, Antigua), Eneko Rosado (Donostia, Gros), Gorka Sanchez (Oñati), Nora Pedrosa (Deba), Joxan Mendizabal (Azkoitia), and Bingen Aranbarri (Azkoitia).
