Donostia Arraun Lagunak has reaffirmed its dominance in the Spanish Rowing Championship, securing victory for the third consecutive time with the 'Lugañenea' boat. In the men's category, Orio has claimed the championship.

Donostia Arraun Lagunak has confirmed its supremacy in the Spanish Rowing Championship, clinching the title for the third consecutive year with the 'Lugañenea' boat. Having won this championship held in Galicia, the team has achieved a clean sweep of victories in the three major pre-league competitions: Gipuzkoa, Euskadi, and Spain.
Initially, they faced a close contest with the Cantabrian team Astillero, but ultimately established a nine-second lead at the finish line. Following them, Perillo and Tiran secured third and fourth places, respectively. In the consolation race, Chapela emerged victorious, defeating Amegrove and Cabo.
In the men's category, however, Donostiarra had to settle for the runner-up position for the third consecutive year, finishing behind Orio, mirroring the results in the Gipuzkoa and Euskadi championships. Orio, with its San Nikolas boat, achieved a more comfortable victory than in the waters of Getaria. Zierbena and Cabo da Cruz finished in third and fourth places, respectively. In the consolation final, Ares triumphed over Samertolameu, surpassing Chapela and Mecos.
With the official championship season concluded, all the rowing teams will now turn their focus to the league, which is set to commence on June 28 in Madrid.
