Last Saturday, April 21, 2026, the second phase of the Inter-village Bertsolari Championship took place at the Sanagustin venue. The two teams that had advanced from the Urola Erdia and Urola Kosta qualifiers faced each other: Azpeitiko Zaharrak Berri and Zarauzko Allepunta.

The team from Azpeitia claimed victory, scoring 18 points, which allowed them to qualify for the semifinals. The members of this team were Beñat Lizaso, Haritz Etxeberria 'Ministro', and Leire Ostolaza. Meanwhile, Hodei Iruretagoiena, Julen Zulaika, and Felix Zubia, from the Zarauzko Allepunta team, obtained 12 points.

The Azpeitiarras will have the opportunity to secure their ticket to the final on May 9, facing either the Leintz or Xarmaginak team from Deba Goiena. The first semifinal session will be held in Oñati, and the second will take place in Tolosa on May 16. The winners of both semifinals will meet in the final, which will be held in Aia on May 30.
