The Azpeitiko Zaharrak Berri team has secured its place in the semifinals of the Inter-village Bertsolari Championship, after triumphing over Zarauzko Allepunta in the second phase competition held on April 21, 2026.

Last Saturday, April 21, 2026, the second phase of the Inter-village Bertsolari Championship took place at the Sanagustin venue. The two teams that had advanced from the Urola Erdia and Urola Kosta qualifiers faced each other: Azpeitiko Zaharrak Berri and Zarauzko Allepunta.
The team from Azpeitia claimed victory, scoring 18 points, which allowed them to qualify for the semifinals. The members of this team were Beñat Lizaso, Haritz Etxeberria 'Ministro', and Leire Ostolaza. Meanwhile, Hodei Iruretagoiena, Julen Zulaika, and Felix Zubia, from the Zarauzko Allepunta team, obtained 12 points.
