The Sanagustin kulturgunea in Azpeitia is set to present the 'Bollología' exhibition, offering an insight into the visual genealogy of the lesbian movement. This exhibition is organized in conjunction with the International Lesbian Visibility Day, celebrated on April 26, and will be on display throughout the week.
Organized by the City Council in collaboration with the Astindu Armaiyuek association, the exhibition compiles both the historical struggles and current references of the lesbian movement in Euskal Herria, providing a broad and necessary perspective on the collective's evolution.
The inauguration will take place on April 20 at 6:30 PM. Marta Luxán, the exhibition's author, will offer a guided tour, allowing attendees to delve deeper into the content, context, and creative process of the display. The exhibition will remain open to the public until April 27.
Furthermore, to bring resources aimed at the LGTBI+ community closer to citizens, the itinerant Berdindu service will be available at Azpeitia's Emakumeen Txokoa on April 21. This service, provided by the Basque Government, offers information, guidance, and support to lesbian, gay, trans, bisexual, and intersex individuals, as well as their environment.
In-person assistance will be available from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The service is intended for anyone seeking to clarify doubts about sexual identity and orientation, legislation, or any aspect related to sexual diversity. For more information, Berdindu can be contacted via the toll-free numbers 900 840 128 / 688 769 865 or by email: berdindu.gipuzkoa@euskadi.eus.
