The Lagun Onak mountain association has organized two significant events in Azpeitia: the Santa Engrazi Eguna, featuring a hike for young people on April 19, and the third stage of the Ehunmilak route in Aralar on April 25.

The Lagun Onak mountain association will celebrate Santa Engrazi Eguna next Sunday, April 19, a day that combines mountaineering, festivity, and tradition. For this occasion, they have organized a hike aimed at young people. Participants will travel by bus to Zestoa, from where they will begin the route alongside members of Agiro MK.
The departure will be at 9:00 AM from in front of the Azpeitia health center. Payment will be made on the bus itself: 5 euros for members and 8 euros for non-members. The deadline for registration is Thursday, April 16.
Furthermore, members of Lagun Onak mendi bazkuna will undertake the third stage of the Ehunmilak route on April 25. This time, Aralar will be the setting, with a 16-kilometer route between Larraitz and Lizarrusti, featuring a positive elevation gain of 1,100 meters. The departure is scheduled for 7:00 AM, also from in front of the health center.
The participation fee for this stage is 15 euros for members and 20 euros for non-members. The registration deadline is Thursday, April 23. Interested individuals must make a deposit into the Rural Kutxa bank account (ES05 3008 0152 64 5416695822), stating their full name, and send the receipt to lagunonak.ibilaldiak@gmail.com.
In recent weeks, the association's mountaineers also ascended Bisaurin mountain. After departing from Azpeitia on Friday and spending the night in Gabardito, they successfully reached the summit on Saturday morning, with good weather and the aid of crampons and ice axes. On Sunday, however, rain was the main factor, and given the situation, the group decided to return home after breakfast. They have expressed gratitude to the staff of the Gabardito refuge for the excellent attention received.
