The municipality of Tolosa has updated its tourist signage and heritage plaques through an agreement between Tolosaldea Garatzen and the City Council, financed by Next Generation funds.

High-visibility signs have been installed in key urban areas such as Gorriti Square, the Tinglado, the Triángulo, Beotibar fronton, San Francisco promenade, the bullring, Euskaldunberria bridge, and Zumardi Txikia.
The new signage also improves access to public services, transport hubs, and cultural landmarks including the Topic museum, Leidor theater, Santa María and San Francisco churches, Usabal sports center, and Berazubi stadium.
The project includes panoramic panels to identify surrounding mountains, new welcome signs at town entrances, and a new identification system for tree species found throughout Tolosa.
Additionally, heritage plaques on iconic buildings have been renewed, featuring texts in four languages and a QR code for an audio guide to provide deeper insight into each location.
