Yesterday, Tolosa enjoyed a perfect day, with pleasant temperatures and clear skies ideal for strolling and enjoying the city's events. The Musikherria festival filled the streets and squares with a diverse musical offering featuring various styles and instruments. Complementing the festivities, the extraordinary flower and plant fair attracted local and regional producers, filling the square with color and fragrance.
The market stalls presented a beautiful selection of spring plants in full bloom, including hydrangeas, geraniums, and lobelias, all of good size. A notable collection featured aromatic plants and perennials, particularly the Japanese maples cultivated by Azpiazu. He also showcased unique species like Tillandsias or air plants, alongside artisanal infusions, teas, and cosmetics, as well as gardening books.
Visitors to the Zerkausi found a rich offering of spring vegetables, with the disappearance of species like brassicas and the prominence of peas, broad beans, spring onions, fresh garlic, and asparagus. There was also a significant presence of Iberian mushrooms, such as fungi, spring zizas, and truffles, available at affordable prices.
